Display Boards
Electromagnetic Flapper Display Board on remote operation rotating pedestal
Jetty-mounted display boards are available to interface with existing Docking Aid Systems or as an optional component to Harbour Marine’s SmartDock® DAS.
- Displays are designed and manufactured in-house for both non-hazardous application and to ATEX requirements for Class 1 Zone 1 hazardous environments.
- Electromagnetic flapper type.
- Display visible in excess of 200m (600 ft).
- Standard display shows speed of approach and distance from jetty. Vessel angle relative to jetty available as an option.
- Red, yellow, green indicator lamps indicating speed of approach can be packaged with the display board.
- A fixed pedestal is offered as standard. An optional manual or electric remote operated rotating pedestal is also available to accommodate different ship types.
Handheld Monitors
- Ultra portable display device, operates over telemetry.
- Provides automatic update of docking information to mooring/shipboard personnel and marine pilot.
- Load Monitoring and Environmental data can also be displayed where these systems are integrated.
- Provides speed warnings with audible or vibrating alarm.
- Intrinsically safe for use in hazardous locations.
Jetty Indicator
- Local display screen for jetty personnel, typically located on the jetty head.
- Displays distance and speed data.
Traffic Lights
Traffic lights (or Speed of Approach lights) offer a lower cost option to the display board. Displays green, amber and red lights based on speed limits set by operators.
