Jetty/Dock Upgrades
Installing mooring systems that improve safety for both ship and jetty makes economic sense for the operator through reduced insurance premiums and improved facilities for a wider range of visiting ships.
Whether adding functionality to existing terminals with Remote Release, Quick Release Hooks or capstans, or upgrading jetty facilities to include mooring line tension monitoring, laser docking (DAS) or environmental monitoring, Harbour Marine can assist in developing design specifications and project budgets. Contact us today to discuss your requirements.
Typical upgrade projects have included:
- Load cell and/or Load Monitoring System replacement for most brands of quick release hooks (QRH).
- Hooks and/or capstans supplied to fit existing foundation bolts for most brands of QRH and a replacement for bollards.
- Capstan units added to existing hooks of any brand.
- Docking Sensor replacement and upgrading sonar and radar sensors to the latest Laser Sensors.
- Docking System display and monitoring hardware and software replacement.
- Wind, Wave, Current, Tide Sensor upgrades or replacement.
- Major upgrade of complete jetty mooring systems to provide state-of-the-art integrated jetty monitoring at existing oil and LNG berths.
