Harbour Marine designs and engineers turnkey systems with integrated Mooring Line Monitoring (MLM), Remote Release, Docking Aid Systems (DAS) and Environmental Monitoring modules, bringing together the best of Harbour Marine's technology into one single, fully interfaced system. As individual modules are upgraded, the enhanced features and benefits of each become part of our integrated solution.
Many wharf facilities use MLM, DAS and Environmental Monitoring systems to a greater or lesser extent. Often these systems are totally independent of each other and there may be no communication or transfer of information available between them. Different manufacturers, different operating systems and no common interface standard are common problems.
Safety and control of vessel docking and mooring is significantly improved by an integrated approach of these systems. Integration also offers lower project installed cost and optimises maintenance, training and upgrade investment.
Harbour Marine is a unique supplier of integrated mooring systems with in-house expertise in the fields of Mechanical, Marine, Civil, Electronic, Software and Communications Engineering. A strong technology focus coupled with creative engineering application skills allows Harbour Marine to provide innovative solutions for the integration of vessel approach and mooring.
We provide all the necessary mooring equipment, docking systems, environmental systems, control equipment, hardware and software to implement effective system operations, therefore helping the vessel Master and jetty manager to see the whole picture.
Ability to integrate and modernize existing stand-alone systems
Harbour Marine have successfully integrated and modernized existing stand alone systems where:
- Mooring line load monitoring, docking and environmental systems have been installed by different manufacturers.
- The location of the existing equipment has been undesirable.
- The reliability of existing equipment has required repair, modification and/or replacement of components.
Integrated Vessel Monitoring includes:
- Fully integrated vessel docking, load monitoring and environmental systems with automatic stand-by/power-on
- Vessel drift monitoring and alarm warning
- Concurrent multi-user operations from multiple workstations.
- Remote dial in access for support.
- Integrated handheld wireless monitors with multi-screen data displays for use in hazardous locations.
- Jetty and control tower operations linked by high speed radio telemetry or fibre optics
- Logged data stored in a centralized database for analysis or simulation training
- Powerful integrated report generators showing the effect of environmental conditions on mooring and docking operations.
- Integrated data can be output to a plant D.C.S systems by analog or digital protocols
- Option to integrate into the system other features such as Water Quality Analysis, Fender Monitoring, Hook Remote Release & Status Reporting, Remote Access & Diagnostics
