Michael Irlam
Harbour Marine is pleased to advise the appointment of Michael Irlam to the position of Technical Sales Manager, Europe. Michael takes over this role following the departure of Chris Forgan who left Harbour Marine in 2006 to pursue new ventures.
Harbour Marine has taken this opportunity to strengthen its technical sales representation within the European market, relocating Michael from the main engineering office in Melbourne to meet the challenges of this role. Michael will commence this new role within Trelleborg Marine Systems promoting the interests of Harbour Marine from 1st February 2007.
Michael joined Harbour Marine in 2001 as a Commissioning & Instrumentation Engineer before being promoted to Project Manager, most recently on a number of significant LNG projects. During this time he has managed project deliverables; conducted Factory Acceptance Tests and site commissioning of our equipment; developed equipment maintenance and operation training modules and provided site servicing to name a few of his many skills. Michael has travelled extensively around the world across both jetty and offshore (oil/gas) projects and he brings a wealth of experience to our European based clients.
