Trelleborg Harbour Marine is the world leader in the design and manufacture of mooring equipment and monitoring systems to ports and the oil & gas industry worldwide.
We are seeking a Project Engineer for a 6-12 month contract.
You will be responsible for the day to day management of assigned projects including the management of contracts, client liaison and coordination of design activities from kick off through to project completion. You will also be involved in the design, construction and testing of electrical controls systems within these projects, in combination with our mechanical engineering team.
The ideal candidate will be required to possess:
- Strong communication skills, be self managed and effective in a team environment
- Excellent conceptual and analytical skills
- Aptitude for electrical control systems
- Project management skills with the ability to meet project targets, and in resolving technical and commercial issues
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Electrical or Instrumentation)
- At least 2-5 years of experience in engineering projects. Suitable graduate engineers may be considered.
Some experience in either the oil or gas, materials handling, or marine industries is desirable but not essential.
